What is the best way out of the park toward the store?
Leave from the west side of the park at MacDougal Street, walk one block to Sixth Avenue on West 4th Street, and continue west past the basketball courts to Sheridan Square. From there, Christopher Street runs all the way to the river. From the arch on the north side, Waverly Place west to Sixth Avenue joins the same route.
Can you use cannabis in Washington Square Park?
No. New York City's Smoke-Free Air Act bans smoking in city parks, and that covers Washington Square. Adults 21 and older can buy at FlynnStoned West Village, but purchases should be used at home or in another place where it is allowed.
What about students and visitors around the park?
The store is adult-use only, and staff check a government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older; a student ID on its own is not enough. Visitors from outside New York can use their home driver's license or passport as ID.
