Which way do you go when you leave the station?
The station's entrances are on Seventh Avenue South at Christopher Street, next to Sheridan Square and Christopher Park. Find Christopher Street, put the park behind you, and walk away from Sixth Avenue. Keep going west across Bleecker, Hudson and Greenwich Streets until the street ends at West Street and the river.
How far is it from other 1 train stops?
Houston Street, one stop south, is about 12 minutes from the store. 14th Street, one stop north, is about 15 minutes and is closer to FlynnStoned Chelsea. For most riders Christopher Street is the stop to use.
Is it a good stop coming from uptown or downtown?
From the Upper West Side, Times Square or Penn Station, the 1 runs straight down Seventh Avenue to Christopher Street without a transfer. From Lower Manhattan, board uptown at South Ferry, Rector Street, WTC Cortlandt or Chambers Street. Either way, plan on ten minutes on foot after you get off.
